My first canvas, and definitely my first time using acrylics.
It was meant to be a fusion of predator and prey; buffalo/cattle with the tiger. Maybe you can spot the tiger's elements and the buffalo's?

I know there are lots of bits where I could improve, but I'm all open to constructive criticism :)

Very feral on the first few. On the other hand, after a closer look, it seemed to be a thinking creature to me and I wondered what thought is hidden behind its blue eyes. Wait. Does it actually have two tails?

Yes, it has two tails, I regret making the both of them.
It was supposed to be a strange mixture of a buffalo, tiger and human.
I refrained from making the stripes too sharply to avoid making it too obvious.

Yes, I tried the, 'I'm going to get you' pose and expression.
Its on canvas and is bigger than it looks. I think I'll get better pictures of it up soon :)

Oh! This is wonderful! I must say I completely fail with acrylics while I can see you are in your element here. I don't see anything wrong with the colours, the similarities of the body and the background make an interesting effect even, like a mosaic! But I think his right front paw is a little too small for a creature this big, thats all :) Great piece!

Really? I was very stressed out over this piece. Acryllics are very hard x.x Yeah, you're right about the paw. I want to do a sketch of this again someday. Will keep the feedback in mind :)

Well, if it was your first try with the acrylics it's no wonder you were stressed out! But the result is really amazing :3 And yes, acrylics are a very hard medium >.< I've tried with them many times... and we somehow don't click... ^^; Maybe I'm just too impatient...
Good luck with any future paintings then, I'm completely sure they will be even more awesome >: D

Yeah! Plus it was for an art camp, where I might be selected (I did get selected xD yay!) And you should treat it like a PS brush tool. Try, sometime :)
